Founder’s Philosophy
Summit Equestrian Club marks the beginning of a new chapter for founder Ashley Yozzo, a professional equestrian with over two decades of experience guiding clients through the AA show circuit. Today, Ashley is intentionally redefining the equestrian experience, shifting away from a show-driven model to create a low-stress, yet elevated experience that prioritizes a horse-first environment through thoughtful care, professional training, and long-term well-being.
This new approach extends to not only the horses but also the dedicated professionals who care for them each day. Ashley believes that exceptional care is only possible when staff are respected, supported, and given the opportunity to truly enjoy their work. By maintaining a balanced, organized, and intentional pace, Summit Equestrian Club enables both horses and staff to thrive, creating a strong foundation for an exceptional equestrian amenity. Attention to detail and clear expectations translate into a unique opportunity for equestrians to experience a very special riding club.
Designed for equestrians who value top-tier care and quality training without the stress of horse showing, Summit Equestrian Club focuses on building strong partnerships between horse and rider, while cultivating genuine friendships within a supportive community. This is not a departure from excellence, it is a return to it, with care, balance, and connection at the center.
Meet our Trainers
Frankie Swindon is a passionate and dedicated horse trainer with a strong foundation in natural horsemanship. She has had the opportunity to observe and learn from a wide variety of teaching styles, from the hunter ring to the dressage ring, from colt starting to addressing behavioral issues, and from a horse’s very first steps under saddle to a well deserved retirement. These experiences have shaped her thoughtful and well rounded approach to training.
Frankie emphasizes safety, proper technique, and a supportive learning environment where both horse and rider can thrive. She is especially passionate about helping riders truly understand equine behavior, from the subtle twitch of an ear to the flick of a tail, so they can respond with awareness, timing, and feel.
Her goal is simple: to create confident riders, willing horses, and lasting partnerships built on trust, patience, and consistency.
